This Shoot was nothing short of magical! There wasn’t one awkward moment of silence or brief yawn of boredom here ladies and gentlemen, just pure LOVE!
About three weeks prior to the shoot, Shelly and Josh Hartman from Hartman Outdoor Photography reached out and asked if I wanted to collaborate on a Styled Shoot. My answer… Um DUH, of course! Have you seen their work? Then immediately I felt the pressure of it being only THREE weeks away, oh crap.
With Shelly’s vision of a Bohemian Elopement and my deep love/obsession with music, we created a “Boho Love Fest Shoot”! I channeled my inner creativity and started on some DIY projects, which included, tambourine dream catchers, multi-colored pillows, A floral chandelier, short wooden table (built by the boyfriend) and much more! For the vibrant colored floral arrangements, I reached out to “Moreno Valley Flower Box”. I told Sandy our vision and she created a masterpiece, she really blew-me-away with her arrangements.
Now to the good stuff…the big dance, the Shoot! I’m a big deal so I reached out to some big time models. Well, not actual models just really “Hot Stuff” friends of mine, but I totally could have fooled ya! Jess & Jessy got married at the Court House and never had an actual ceremony, so it was a perfect fit!
When collaborating with vendors you never know how everyone is going to work together. With us, it seemed as if we have all worked together for years. Shelly and Josh have this amazing passion for photography and for life. Josh scared me half to death by hanging off rocks and trees like a monkey, just to get the perfect shot. When seeing these pictures, you can actually feel the love shared between these two. This love was contagious during the shoot and made every moment so stinkin incredible!
Hope you love the shoot as much as we loved creating it! XOXO ~Jessie Jo
